Hacktoberfest 2022: Contribute to the Open-Source Community

Hello awesome people of the Open Source universe!

Hacktoberfest is finally here and we are really excited to participate in it once again. As you must know already, we love using and contributing to open source at Zyte.

You are all more than welcome to contribute to our open source projects and win Zyte swag!

What is Hacktoberfest?

Started by Digital Ocean, Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration that brings the open source software community together.

The primary motive is to give back and contribute to open source projects; not necessarily just code contribution.

The cherry on the cake is, Digital Ocean plants a tree on your name or gives away cool swag to some of the participants.

Who can participate?

Literally ANYONE!

Hacktoberfest is all about making contributions to open-source projects. It can be anything, not just code.

You can participate as:

  • Software development
  • Translators
  • Authors
  • Artists
  • Technical writes

Learn more about non-code contributions here.
